Derailed

Somewhere I have a half drafted post, which never got finished because too much stuff got in the way. Today, the most snow I can remember in South East England has fallen (awkward sentence there, but never mind); F won't pee outside because the snow is well above her shoulders, both girls' schools have closed for the first time ever, and when we made an exploratory sortie to get milk, we found the roads outside littered with abandoned cars stranded by our (not very steep) local hills. So here we are, at home, with the world strangely white and silent outside. Time to sort out the mess on my desk, I think.
