Not something to laugh about. But there was a classic comment from my 7 year old, doing her history homework yesterday, about the Romans. She had to list Roman trade goods and write a sentence about why they wanted each one - thus -
Corn - to make bread and feed animals
Gold - to make jewellery and money
And one of the items was "Slaves". And she wrote, "The Romans had slaves so they could relax more."
Well, it's not wrong, is it?
